Journey in the dark.

It was a journey in the dark
Figures too hazy and nothing to hark
The road ahead hidden to the naked eye
Never too easy for one to ply
Life’s travel no better a simile
Life’s travails ever reminiscent of the gloomy
Amidst the seemingly dense cover of darkness
Unaware of man’s plight and helplessness
Lighting their own path of happiness
Glittered the glow worms in unison
Which left me in utter confusion
At this paradox of life on Earth
The human life blinded by merry and mirth
Utopia – ever a dream and always a myth.

Thanks for sharing. This poem is written by my very own dad. I am wondering where you found it though?
