Whispers, From one child to another...

As a child I came
Into a world full of names
I found two dear ones
Who had already befriended me --
Even before I was born!
To one I was closer
Who had felt me even in her womb
She who fed, washed and put me to sleep
We grew together, in body and soul
Each day, each second was a marvel
Each year and each month, a mile-stone in life's journey
Soon came the Moment....
For it comes in everyone's life, un-announced
A flicker, a flash or sometimes a flame
That turns our world upside down!
I too, then, wondered
Who the child, and who the 'grown up'?
Who the care-taker, and whose is the Love?
Eyes are there, but who gave the Sight?
Ears are there, but who whistles thro' it?
Body is there, and who put the Soul?
And of course, who puts these words in me?
Then came the breeze
That always carries the answers
To all who ask such questions...
And then I saw: my sight, other's sight and all the sights
Are all parts of Her One Sight
My love, other's love and all love
Are just little bits of Her Single Love
Myself, other selves, and all selves
Are just the finites of the One Infinite - She!
We all are Her children
and She is the Sole Parent!
