Harmony...

The clouds did bring in the rain
The rivers looked swollen and in pain
It quenched the thirst and never looked in vain.
The trees swayed with all their might
Though their trunks seemed ageing with fright
To cool and shade travellers in sight.
The Sun shone at its blazing best
Glowing from dawn till dusk bereft of rest
To light and instil mankind with zest.
The Moon did rise to its seat
Resilient against the days' scorching heat
A perpetual balm to soothe and to treat.
The Land looked fertile and green
Seemed to be smiling and had a sheen
For it held all the corn and the grain.
Humanity seemed to dwell in peace
From the tiny insect to the Gargantuan race
Harmony had brought things in abundance.
For the purveyor of the scene
A sight to behold and so calm and serene
It was heaven on Earth and so divine.
Mankind could never have asked for more
Mother nature endowed her children with care
For the blessed, it was Paradise in store.
